Despite suffering heavy casualties in a last minute firefight that also claimed the life of Gen. Rashid, TF267 was able to break the alliance between the Black Tigers and the Koroti tribe. Losses for the US were so high as a result of this action that what remained of USSF Task Force 267 was forced to retreat and wait for evacuation.
The cunning Black Tiger Mercenaries took advantage of this situation and decided to strike the US force while momentum was in their favor. They did not count on the fervor of the indigenous people though. Upon seeing the BT forces moving toward the US outpost, the Koroti tribesmen took up arms against the mercenaries in order to aid the American fighters. After a long and intense firefight, the remaining US forces, with the help of the Koroti, were able to force a stalemate with the advancing Black Tigers long enough for Evac to arrive and transport them to an undisclosed location.
The flow of weapons may have been interrupted for now, but the real prize for the US forces, Vladimir Zhukov, managed to once again slip through the net and avoid capture.
In other words, we don't know who won, but we had one hell of a time. :)
